Dr. Mark Borcherding received his undergraduate at UW-Platteville in Wisconsin and is well traveled, having studied 3 years in Grenada in the West Indies at St. George’s University as well as 1 year at Kansas State University and as far as Peru!
His interests include exotic animals, having taken additional courses in coral reef ecology, reptile and amphibian medicine and an exotics rotation with well known Dr. Carpenter and Dr. Eschar at Kansas State University.
Dr. Borcherding has had many animals throughout his life, each of them touching his life in a unique way and wanting to protect that bond for others who share it. He owns pet fish (fresh water and saltwater) and a bearded dragon named Sunny! In his spare time, Dr. Borcherding enjoys painting landscapes, scuba, swimming and craft projects.
His passion is providing every animal that an average person owns with the best medicine he can provide. Regardless of whether it slithers, walks, swims, or flies Dr. Borcherding aims to help animals of every size and shape. He’s excited to meet you and your pets!
