Dr. Elissa Kelley was born and raised in suburban Chicago.   She started caring for a variety of pets at the age of 10 and focused on her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She received her Bachelor Of Science in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  She then travelled to Canada to attend veterinary school at Atlantic Veterinary College (Class of 2006) on beautiful Prince Edward Island. She returned to the US after graduation where she gained extensive experience in emergency, reproduction, and general medicine/surgery at Wilson Veterinary Hospital in Michigan. Dr. Kelley left her beautiful log home on a rural dirt road to move back to Illinois to be closer to family. She has 3 Alaskan Malamutes, 2 French Bulldogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs, and 3 fish.   Her hobbies include boating, hiking, road trips, and Windy City G League basketball games.
