2017 Featured Fosters: A Year In Review

The 2017 foster program at the clinic was a huge success! Through the program, we provide housing and care on a regular basis for a few rescue animals at a time as well as assist the rescues with the adoption process. This year it amounted to nearly 100 animals! The goal is to help the overwhelmed rescues whose shelters, volunteers and fosters are constantly overflowing with animals looking for their forever homes. Having another location for possible adopter families to visit the animals and having these loving professionals looking after these pets makes things that much easier for the rescue group and the volunteers.

Beau

Meet Beau! Beau is a 4 years old full blood German Shepherd who was surrendered when his owner passed away unexpectedly and family could not keep him. He is great with other animals and children and up to date on vaccines. More info once he settles into foster care!

Kicker

Meet Kicker! He is a Lab/Mix approx. 2 years old and about 61 lbs.  A real lover boy! Although a tad strong on the leash, he is so gentle. Found in a parking lot of a Dollar Store in LA, left there by his owner. An individual took him home, but tied him up outside.  He ended up in the kill shelter and just 2 days before euthanization Magnificent Mutts Rescue came to the rescue, even though he is heartworm positive. They love him so much in LA -- his followers donated money towards treating him. He is almost ready to go home after finishing his treatments and looking for a loving family and home to settle in. Come meet him! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dog friendly and kid friendly!

Andi & Alex

Two are better than one! Meet Andi (female, white) & Alex (male, black & tan) looking for their forever homes!

They are a dynamic duo aka a bonded pair of 30-35 lbs lap dogs! Andi is about 2-3 years old and Alex is only about a year old. They came in from Kentucky as local strays that people tried catching for months if you can believe it! They are fantastic with other dogs and don't seem to care about cats! They are extra sweet and love to be snuggled, gets lots of love and are wonderful with children!

They are available for adoption at our clinic through Mobile Mutts Rescue! Come meet them! Give us a call at 630.355.5300 to make an appointment!

If interested in meeting him, please FILL OUT THE APPLICATION on the website of www.puppiesthatneedlove.com under How To Adopt.

Prudence

Meet Prudence! She's a young Hound/Mix with a beautiful tricolor coat (Tan/Brown & Black & White)! She is a Parvo survivor and, while being treated, her body might have reacted to the medicine as she may be completely deaf. Love and tenderness is so much appreciated though! She is hoping that there is an angel out there who can take her home and love her for the way she is. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and good with other dogs! She'd love a dog friend to take the lead and be her companion! If you would like to meet her, please fill out an adoption application at www.puppiesthatneedlove.com under How To Adopt.
