Dr. Todd Prince

Dr. Todd Prince

Dr. Prince obtained his veterinary degree from the University of Illinois after doing his undergraduate work in animal sciences at Iowa State University. He is one of only 15 veterinarians in the State of Illinois to receive diplomat status with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, specialty Canine and Feline Practice, which he received in 1993. He has been in practice since 1984 and is a member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Prince enjoys practicing preventive care for companion animals and has a special interest in orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures, neurological disorders, and oncology. To stay current with the state of the art, he attends more than 100 hours of continuing education classes per year. He is the proud owner of a black and tan Doberman named Ari and enjoys sports, snowmobiling, and spending time with his children.

Dr. Tom Staudacher

Dr. Tom Staudacher

Dr. Staudacher graduated from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine after doing his undergraduate work in biology at the University of Northern Iowa. He has been in practice since 1997 and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Staudacher has a special interest in ophthalmology and ultrasound. He also enjoys practicing preventive medicine and surgery. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, 5 children, 7 dogs, 30 chickens, 4 goats, 2 pot-bellied pigs, 2 sheep, 2 donkeys, 28 ducks, 2 turkeys, 2 geese, and a horse. He also enjoys watching and playing sports.

Dr. Lisa Mortensen

Dr. Lisa Mortensen

Dr. Mortensen obtained her veterinary degree at Iowa State University after completing her undergraduate work in animal science at Michigan State University and her master’s degree in business from the University of Phoenix. Her special interests include feline medicine and surgery. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Illinois Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Mortensen and her husband live with their dog, Jack, and two cats, Garfield and Steven. She spends her free time doing anything outdoors.

Dr. Megan Williams

Dr. Megan Williams

Dr. Williams earned her DVM degree at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school, she completed an externship at the Champaign County Humane Society, as well as various specialty rotations including oncology, ophthalmology, and primary care medicine. Special interests include soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, oncology, and internal medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with her fiancé Drew, friends and family, and her dog Haley. She also enjoys cheering on her beloved Chicago sports teams (especially the Cubs!), and the Fighting Illini as time allows.

Dr. Kathryn Ardis

Dr. Kathryn Ardis

Dr. Arids received her veterinary degree from Michigan State University. She completed her undergraduate work in zoology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Ardis is a member of the AVMA and she has a special interest in internal medicine, ultrasound and cardiology.

Dr. Ardis has two cats, Hobbes and Desi, whose unconditional love serve as a daily reminder of the reason she entered the field of veterinary medicine. In her free time she enjoys reading, bicycling, spending time outdoors and cooking.

Dr. Daniel Chesnut

Dr. Daniel Chesnut

Dr. Chesnut received his veterinary medical degree from the University of Wisconsin and received his bachelor’s degree in animal sciences from the University of Illinois. He moved to Naperville in 1994 and is a graduate of Nequa Valley High School. He has a special interest in internal medicine, neurology and exotic animal medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Chesnut currently lives in Plainfield with his 3 family dogs. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, reading and relaxing.

Dr. Kristin Baumgartner

Dr. Kristin Baumgartner

Dr. Baumgartner graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine after obtaining her bachelor's in animal science and microbiology from Iowa State University. During the past year she completed an internship specializing in equine sports medicine and diagnostics. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Her special interests include preventative medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging.

Dr. Baumgartner grew up in Crystal Lake, Illinois and she is excited to be staying in the area. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as horseback riding. Her favorite seasons are football and baseball when she gets to cheer on her favorite Chicago teams, the Bears and the Cubs.

Leslie Shibovich, Hospital Manager

Leslie Shibovich, Hospital Manager

Leslie has been with the Naperville Animal Hospital since 1997. She annually attends the Western Veterinary Conference to better her management skills, as well as attends various classes on computer programs. She thoroughly enjoys the business aspect of the practice but looks forward to speaking with clients and helping with all their needs.

When not working, Leslie enjoys spending time with her daughter and her dogs.
