Meet Our Veterinarians at Naperville Animal Hospital
Dr. Todd Prince
Dr. Prince obtained his veterinary degree from the University of Illinois after doing his undergraduate work in animal sciences at Iowa State University. In 1993, he was awarded Diplomate status with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. He is one of 15 in the state of Illinois to receive this honor. In 2002 and 2012, he was re-certified.
Dr. Prince has been in practice since 1984 and is a member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He enjoys practicing preventative care for companion animals and has a special interest in orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures, neurologic disorder, and oncology. He attends more than 100 hours of continuing education per year to stay current with the state of the art.
He is the proud owner of a black and tan Doberman named Del and a Boston terrier named Bella. In his spare time, he enjoys watching all of the major Chicago sports teams, which includes the Cubs AND the Sox, golf, reading, and spending time with his two wonderful children.
Dr. Tom Staudacher
Dr. Staudacher graduated from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine after doing his undergraduate work in biology at the University of Northern Iowa. He has been in practice since 1997 and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Staudacher has a special interest in ophthalmology and ultrasound. He also enjoys practicing preventative medicine and surgery. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, 6 children, 7 dogs, 30 chickens, 4 goats, 2 pot-bellied pigs, 2 sheep, 2 donkeys, 28 ducks, 2 turkeys, 2 geese, and a horse. He also enjoys watching and playing sports.
Dr. Allison Meiszberg
Dr. Meiszberg completed a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at Iowa State University. She then went to Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine to obtain a Masters of Science in Veterinary Preventive Medicine concurrently with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Meiszberg is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine.
Dr. Meiszberg is originally from Southeastern Wisconsin, but enjoys living in Naperville with her husband Mike, her daughter Amelia, their 2 dogs (a pitbull named Phoebe and a beagle/pit mix named Veda), and their cat, Howie. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, boating, and listening to music.
Dr. Kirsten Magnuson
Dr. Magnuson completed her undergraduate studies at Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, IN. It was during that time she began volunteering at a local animal hospital and made the decision to pursue veterinary medicine. Dr. Magnuson then went on to obtain her veterinary degree from the University of Illinois. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association. Her special interests include cardiology, internal medicine and exotic husbandry and care.
Dr. Magnuson was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She resides in Geneva with her dog, Ginnie and her two cats Fiona and Phillio. In her free time she enjoys running, watching movies, reading, cooking, trying out new restaurants and traveling.
Dr. Amanda Mirabella
Dr. Amanda Mirabella obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio while on a division II softball scholarship. She then went on to the University of Illinois for her veterinary degree. She has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, and exotic/wildlife medicine.
Dr. Mirabella grew up in the Elgin, Illinois area. In her spare time she still enjoys playing and watching sports. She also enjoys spending time with her animals including her 3 dogs: Bindi, Juno, and Pippen (pictured), 6 cats, 2 rabbits, 3 turtles, her bearded dragon, and her quaker parrot.
Dr. Andrew Klingsporn
Dr. Klingsporn attended Northeastern Illinois University, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science degree. He then traveled to the island of Grand Cayman where he attended St. Matthew’s School of Veterinary Medicine and then spent his clinical year at University of Illinois. He has a special interest in emergency and internal medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the Emergency and Critical Care Society.
Dr. Klingsporn was born and raised in Illinois and is a huge Chicago Bears fan. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 children, and their golden retriever.
Dr. Steven Zary
Dr. Steven Zary graduated from Augustana College with his Bachelor of Science degree and then attended the University of Illinois with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
As a doctor at Naperville Animal Hospital, he sees dogs, cats and exotic animals, for which he has a strong passion. Dr. Zary also enjoys internal medicine, diagnostic imaging and opthamalogy.
A music lover, in his free time, he attends as many concerts as he can and also plays trumpet and piano.
He shares his home with his Shitzu Cappuccino, his Budgy Elmer and his Crested Gecko, Blitz.
Dr. Tiana Royer
Dr. Royer attended the University of Illinois for both her Bachelor's degree and later her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. Her special interests include emergency, neurology, feline medicine as well as exotic/wildlife medicine.
Dr. Royer grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She has two cats (Waya and Finnick), a leopard gecko named Steven and a Labrador Retriever named Link. In her free time, Dr. Royer enjoys running, biking, hiking, reading, listening to music and painting.
Dr. Kelly Snell
Dr. Kelly Snell attended the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana for her Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences and continued at the U of I College of Veterinary Medicine for her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. Her special interests include ophthalmology, dermatology and surgery.
Dr. Snell grew up in Woodridge, Illinois. In her free time, Dr. Snell enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Morgan Hill
Dr. Morgan Hill completed both her B.S. in Animal Sciences and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is an animal-lover at heart and has never been without a furry companion! Her special interests include dermatology and ophthalmology.
Dr. Hill was born and raised in Champaign, IL and is a huge fan of the Fighting Illini. She is excited to be in Naperville and loves to explore the city with her pet boxer, Piper! In her spare time, she enjoys working out, reading, going to concerts, and traveling.
Leslie Shibovich, Hospital Manager
Leslie has been with The Pet Experts for 20 years, throughout which time she's been working her magic behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. While her daily tasks keep her plenty busy, she makes time to better her management skills by attending annual veterinary conferences and workshops, as well as various classes on computer programs. She thoroughly enjoys the business aspect of the practice and also looks forward to each and every opportunity to meet and speak with clients and to help with all of their needs.
Outside of work, Leslie enjoys running and spending time with her beautiful daughter and her precious pets, her boxers, Addi & Lacey.
